We want you to have the best possible experience at this year's show. Below are some of the answers to frequently asked questions that will help ensure you are prepared for the show and make the most of your time at the arena.


Q: How do I get tickets?

Should you experience any issues, don’t hesitate to contact the arena on their ticket hotline on 0344 8000 509.

Q: When should I arrive for the event?

The show start time for each event will be printed on your ticket. Doors open 60 mins prior to start time. We advise customers to take their seats as close to the show opening time as they can, to ensure that everyone is seated on time and the show can begin with minimum disruption for others. Unfortunately, we cannot delay the performance time should customers arrive late. The shopping village opens every day at 9am. All ticket holders will have access to the shopping village, including the champagne bar and restaurants during opening hours.

Q: If I’m booking in a group, can I get a discount?

A: There are group discounts available, click here. Please call 0344 8000 509 to book.

Q: Can I post my tickets for sale on third party websites?

Tickets are sold for private use and M&S Bank Arena monitor their sale and resale. If we have reason to believe tickets are being resold we may invalidate them and refuse entry to the event. M&S Bank Arena is a member of STAR (The Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers/Secure Tickets from Authorised Retailers) which identifies reputable ticket outlets. For further details click here.

Q: Can I cancel my tickets?

Once tickets have been purchased they are non-refundable. We cannot offer any kind of refund unless the event is cancelled or is subject to considerable alteration, such as a change of date. Please read the terms and conditions on the back of your ticket for more details or contact the Box Office on 0344 8000 509. If the event is postponed because of coronavirus, advice will be available from your original point of purchase. Your ticket will be valid for the new date announced and you will also be entitled to a full refund if you cannot make the alternative date.

Q: What should I do if I have lost my tickets?

The Box Office does not provide duplicate tickets for lost or stolen tickets. To contact staff for further information, please call the Box Office 0344 8000 509.

Q: Can I use electronic cigarettes in the M&S Bank Arena?

The use of electronic cigarettes is strictly prohibited.

Q: How can I book a ticket for a disabled visitor?

To make sure that the required ticket and seating is booked for you, please call the hotline 0344 335 0437.

Q: What are the like facilities for disabled visitors?

We have accessible seating bays at the venue for customers with disabilities and their assistants. Bays provide excellent views with no steps to climb to access them. Guide dogs can be accommodated in the bays. M&S Bank Arena aims to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all its customers attending any event. Please call our Box Office team on 0344 335 0437 to discuss your specific access requirements.

Q: If I've bought evening tickets, when can I access the shopping village?

Access to the Shopping Village is open from 9am for all afternoon and evening guests. You can come and enjoy the shopping village as early as you would like, but the access to the main arena is limited to the performance you have tickets for.

Q: How long are the performances?

The performances are scheduled to be four hours long with a half-hour interval, which will give you time to visit our shopping village.

Q: What is the postcode to the M&S Bank arena?

Q: Where can I park?

There are the Kings Dock Car Park & Liverpool Waterfront Car Parks on site at the M&S Bank Arena which is available on a first come first served basis, there are also the:

Q: Where can I eat at the show?

Q: How can I volunteer at the show?

Q: At what age do children need tickets?

Children under the age of three can go free on standard tickets if they are able to sit on a parents lap. All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Q: Are pushchairs allowed in the Arena?

On arrival at the arena pushchairs can be left at the main desk on either the city side or riverside of the concourse level, where you will be given a numbered ticket so that you can collect your item at the end of the show.

Q: Is there an age restriction for unaccompanied children?

Children under the age of 14 are only permitted into the venue with an accompanying adult. Everyone attending an event, including babies, must have a ticket. Babies in arms do not require a ticket. Toddlers who require their own seat require a child’s ticket.

Q: How can I upgrade my ticket?

To upgrade your ticket, you can simply do so at the checkout to add it onto your ticket, or add it on afterwards by buying online, simply follow the link on our upgrades page by clicking here.

Q: What security is in place at the M&S Bank Arena?

The M&S Bank Arena take control of the security of their venue while our event is on and they are extremely vigilant. Bag checks are carried out, and sniffer dogs can be seen in and around the venue on an event as well as detector wands may be used. To find out more on the M&S Bank Arena here.

Fire Procedure

In the event of a fire, follow the directions of the M&S Bank Arena Venue Stewards and leave the building by the nearest available emergency exit. If you discover a fire: Inform the nearest available M&S Bank Arena Venue steward or a Show Official if one is closer to you.

The Liverpool M&S Bank Arena operates a full Event Safety Management system; Public address announcements will be made, and the emergency services will be notified. The Venue Safety Officer, who manages the Event Safety Stewards, will coordinate and evaluate the situation in the case of fire. The Venue Safety Officer will ensure the Fire Brigade is notified.

    The organisers of the Liverpool International Horse Show welcome you to this event at the Liverpool M&S Bank Arena. In order to make this a safe and fun event for everyone, we ask you to take reasonable care of your own and other people’s health and safety. If you see anything you think might be a risk to your health and safety and to that of others, please report it to a member of the Show Team or Event Safety Steward.
