Getting Here

It’s easy to get to Liverpool. Excellent road and rail links from North Wales, Cheshire, Manchester, Lancashire and Cumbria will bring you within minutes’ walk or drive from the Echo Arena Liverpool’s main entrance. Air links make Liverpool simple to reach from overseas too - so why wait?

Where to park

Less than 20 minutes from the UK motorway network and adjacent to Liverpool’s main through-road, Echo Arena is perfectly placed if arriving by car. Simply follow the white on brown tourist route signs for the Waterfront, visible on all major routes into the city.

Driving from The South

Leave the M6 at junction 21A and take the M62 to Liverpool.

At the end of the M62, follow signs for Liverpool City Centre along Edge Lane, before picking up and following the brown on white tourist route signs for the Waterfront. The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is signposted 'Waterfront' on the citywide 'available spaces' signage.  We offer a flat fee of £6 for parking for all Echo Arena Liverpool events.

From the Wirral, Wales and the M53

Leave the M53 motorway at junction 3 signposted Birkenhead and follow the A552 for the Birkenhead (Queensway) Tunnel and Liverpool City Centre. The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is signposted 'Waterfront' on the citywide 'available spaces' signage.

Driving from The North

Leave the M6 at junction 26 and follow signs for M58 Liverpool. Continue to the end of the M58 and then follow signs for A59 Liverpool.

Continue to follow signs for Liverpool City Centre, until brown on white tourist route signs for the Waterfront appear. The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is signposted 'Waterfront' on the city wide 'available spaces' parking signage.  We offer a flat fee of £6 for parking for all Echo Arena Liverpool events.


In case Echo Arena isn’t instantly recognised in your satellite navigation device before starting your journey, input one of the below into your device:

a) Enter the postcode L3 4BX, along with the following co-ordinates - LAT:53.396007 LONG:-2.99118 (all satellite navigation units have this function)
b) Enter the city as 'Liverpool' and the road name as 'Queen’s Wharf'

Long-distance and local bus services operate into the bus station at the Liverpool ONE retail development, five minutes’ walk from Echo Arena, as well as Queen Square bus station. We also offer drop-off areas and dedicated coach parking right next to the venue too.

Just five minutes’ walk from the bustling bus station at Liverpool ONE and conveniently situated for visitors travelling into Liverpool’s Queen Square bus station, Echo Arena Liverpool is simple to reach by bus and coach. We even offer drop-off areas and dedicated coach parking adjacent to the King’s Dock site.

Echo Arena is a short taxi or bus ride away from Liverpool Lime Street rail station and its long distance rail services, including hourly, direct services to London (taking a little over two hours). Destinations in Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire, North Wales and Cumbria are even closer …

Reaching Echo Arena Liverpool by rail couldn’t be easier with extensive national, regional and local connections; Liverpool Lime Street is the heart of the city’s rail network. Once you arrive, a short bus or taxi journey will bring you direct to Echo Arena...

Virgin Trains operates hourly, direct services from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street, taking just over two hours. Other national, regional and local rail services also operate into Liverpool Lime Street station.

Echo Arena is a 20-minute walk from Lime Street or a short taxi ride. Alternatively, you can change at Lime Street onto the underground Wirral Line trains, travelling into to James Street station, which is a 10-minute walk away. If you’re travelling from outside Merseyside, you can catch an underground train to James Street station from Lime Street station, inclusive of the cost of your ticket. The CityLink bus service also runs a circular route around the city and stops at both Liverpool Lime Street and Echo Arena.
